USF Management Corporation

Mission

The USF Management Corporation is organized to operate and administer for and on behalf of the University certain facilities and property owned, operated, or under the control of the University, and other assets, events, and services to students as designated by the University, for the purpose of assisting the University in carrying out its educational mission as directed by the University's President, or President's designee. As such, the Corporation will further promote, stimulate, develop and advance the business prosperity and economic welfare and diversity of, the State of Florida and its residents.

Governance

The USF Management Corporation Board shall comprise at least three members and no more than fifteen members. The Board includes a Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, Secretary, and Executive Director. While the University President, the University Chief Financial Officer or their designee, and the Chairperson of the Board of Directors can nominate members to the Board, all Board members shall be approved and formally appointed by the USF Board of Trustees.

Meetings

The Board of Directors holds its annual meeting in October. Special meetings may be called by the Board Chair or the President of the Corporation whenever deemed necessary. The Executive Director shall call a special meeting whenever a majority of the Board requests it. Complete and accurate minutes of all previous meetings are distributed before each meeting.
