bio
Born and raised in Miami, Christopher Ahrendt is a multi hyphenated Latin American filmmaker. As a Emmy-nominated, 12x Suncoast NATAS award-winning filmmaker, his works have span across multiple genres with focuses on: drama, action, and documentary.
Beginning his career at the age of nine with one of Miami’s top agencies, Christopher went on to collaborate with major brands including Disney, Ralph Lauren, Nerf, Honda, and Atlantis. With years of industry experience, he brings a hands-on perspective to the classroom, emphasizing both the creative and technical aspects of filmmaking. Dedicated to mentoring the next generation of storytellers, he is passionate about helping students find their voice and use film as a tool for meaningful social impact. He is excited to begin his academic journey as a proud USF Bull.
